Buy a Bird and Feed a Family

Buy a Bird Billings program is a fun and easy way for the public to support the mission of the Billings Food Bank, an organization that has been addressing the hunger issues in Eastern Montana for 30 years.

The Billings Food Bank works daily to alleviate hunger. The holidays are an especially important time of year and it is when we are fortunate to experience the generosity of Montanans, but hunger is a year-round problem.

Last year we served almost 11,000 holiday food boxes between Thanksgiving and Christmas and since we’re seeing almost a 20% increase in assistance requests currently we expect that we will see a similar increase in Holiday requests.

To help address these additional funding needs we are presenting Buy-a-Bird Billings.

You can show your support by purchasing a one of these distinctive hunger fighting Turkeys to keep for your family, return to Billings Food Bank to put into another family's Holiday Box, or we will send to whomever you decide, ie favorite employees, customers or business associates.

For those who prefer to simply donate, we will provide one turkey for each $20 donated to a needy family with their holiday food box.
